Joshua Loing is an Indonesian composer for film, TV and multimedia with a sheer enthusiasm for perfection in film making.
His music has been influenced by many genres. from John Williams’ dovetailing lines, to Netsky’s chest-thumping deep sub bass to Kotaro Oshio’s intimate progression. He studied Sound and Music Design in Lim Kok Wing University Malaysia,
Then he continued his study in film music composition in Berklee College of Music after winning the Juan Luis Guerra Celebrity Online Scholarship.
he studied from the likes of the Emmy award-winning composer Brad Hatfield, Ben Newhouse and Beth Denisch.
Joshua’s work as a music composer and sound engineer can be heard nationally on Global TV.
he works until late in the studio just to get the details right, because he knows that his music will be heard by millions once it airs and he believes that its the details that gives a show or films its true essence.
and when he’s not writing commercially, he likes to perform all stripped down with his acoustic guitar under his Joshumbrella moniker.
